A $6bn+ Data and IS technology business seek a Strategic Pricing Manager to lead consultative development of B2B pricing strategy, positioning and process at global group level.

Salary - TPP c.£110k+ (c.£80000 base + excellent % bonus & benefits package)
Location - UK remote WFH + occasional UK and international travel

As an established yet ever-expanding global market leader in B2B & B2C data/related software technology service platforms to all corners of private and public sector customer verticals, this business is in the process of operational excellence transformation across its global Commercial functions with operational and EBIT performance enhancements already being achieved.

To continue this development, they seek a Senior / Strategic Pricing Manager to join their global strategic B2B pricing improvement & consulting team.

This team engage and consult across internal UK&I, EMEA, LAT-AM, North America, Asia-Pac sales BU’s and regional pricing teams to bring targeted, data-driven review and performance enhancement to pricing process, position and engagement.

The Strategic Pricing Manager / Consultant will engage international stakeholders at exec and operational team levels to analyse, develop, influence and implement pricing improvement strategies. This will be across the full remit of B2B product and services suites from volume-based standard offerings utilising CPQ and AI, to more bespoke and value-based strategic pricing propositions for enterprise-level deals.

Alongside the opportunity to innovate and deliver pricing expertise on a global level this role also has a potential career development path to Global Head/Director of Strategic Pricing.

The Global Strategic Pricing Manager / Consultant will:
• Drive, create and influence the development of commercial pricing strategy across a wide range of international BU’s and B2B product areas.
• Perform analysis using both measurable data and anecdotal evidence, make and engage recommendations for change and improvement
• Champion global best practice pricing tools and practices
• Own and lead specific program work streams on CPQ development & implementation.
• Develop and promote business cases for investment in pricing
• Drive internal collaboration and sharing of best practices.
• Work with sales/product teams to understand the product roadmap and influence/help to establish pricing strategies aligned with the customer value proposition
• Deliver insightful pricing metrics and recommendations.
• Support transformation towards cloud / subscription pricing where appropriate
• Maintain an external perspective of developments in pricing and ensure this is incorporated into business planning.

Experience and expertise required for application:
• Demonstrable delivery of strategic analysis and pricing process improvement implementation at Senior / Strategic Pricing Manager level
• B2B standard and bespoke enterprise pricing positioning
• Pricing within Software, SaaS, Data, Telco, FinTech, or related technology/IS service product sectors
• Leading international pricing projects and developing standardised, digital automated, subscription and / or bespoke value-based pricing models / processes
• International communication: able to quickly build credibility, rapport, engagement and influence across geograhic boundries to make strategic business improvements
• Demonstrable commitment to deliver results for immediate need and medium/long term strategic objectives
• High degree of business acumen; understands key business, financial, commercial drivers on localised and international scales
• Utilisation and/or development of CPQ tools (salesforce or SAP CPQ an advantage)
