A UK market leading insurance/FS and wider services group seek a Commercial Contracts Manager to engage contract management expertise across a diverse variety of client, vendor and partner agreements at pre and post award stages.

Salary – c.£50000 - £60000 (neg DOE) + benefits
Location – UK WFH / Hybrid with occasional Hampshire office presence (as little as 1-2 days p/m or more if preferred)

As a long-established £200m+ UK market leader providing insurance service products/packages on both B2C & B2B corporates levels, this business is undergoing a digital and commercial transformation with a defined plan to grow and enhanced their commercial & contractual management division and functionality.

Positioned within the growing Commercial & Contracts management team the Commercial Contracts Manager will have the opportunity to engage expertise across all areas of the group’s contractual arrangements inclusive of B2B sales/customer, supplier/procurement and partnership activity with the focus to mitigate contractual risk, ensure governance/compliance while maximising the commercial position.

The Commercial Contracts Manager will assist in the development of robust contracts management strategy and engage:
• Contractual review, advice, shaping and negotiation
• Contract & deal governance (suppliers, corporate customer (sales) and partners)
• Contribution to the development of procurement and vendor contracts management process
• Lead and support tender and supplier selections process
• Through life contracts management (service/sla review, updates, amendment, renewal and/or exits)
• Contracts governance/compliance management in line with business and FCA regulation
• Deal value improvement activity (+ rev from sales, - cost from vendors and/or wider commercial value from the agreement and T&C's application)
• In-house legal team partnership to support the finer legal review and drafting of complex contract t&c’s elements
• Reporting and advice on commercial and contracts risk positioning to Executive and board levels

Experience required for Commercial Contracts Manager application:

• Highly COMMERCIAL & PROACTIVE able to mitigate risk, seek opportunities to deliver commercial advantage and manage full lifecycle contracts process
• Likely 4-5+ years commercial contracts management experience in a large corporate setting
• Demonstrable delivery of expertise as a Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager across sales/customer, supply/vendor/procurement, and partnership contractual agreements (corporate and business services contract forms of great advantage)
• Commercial negotiation expertise across technical and commercial elements within corporate business contract T&C's
• Management of 3rd party supply and vendor contractual relationships
• Demonstrability ability to build stakeholder relationships and work in matrix teams including (Legal, Sales, Finance, Bids/proposals, IT +++)
• IACCM & Business, Finance or Legal related degree qualifications backgrounds all relevant

N.B.
We are very open to corporate sector/industry backgrounds for the role... you may be a Commercial Contracts Manager from Telco, Insurance, FS, IT, Technology +++ all of which could be transferable to this business with the key prerequisite of being able to demonstrate agile expertise across customer sales and supplier contracts management in corporate business settings.
