A global Management Consultancy delivering expertise across a broad spectrum of Public/Gov and Private sector policy, technology, research and wider services seek a Commercial Contracts Manager to lead client-side legal contracts advice, drafting, negotiation and deal execution for their UK & EMEA projects.

Salary - £65000 - £75000 DOE + benefits
Location - Hybrid WFH flexibility with 1/2 days p/w London (zone 1) or Birmingham office presence (more office based time if preferred)

The Commercial Contracts Manager will take up post within the established in-house EMEA&A Contracts & Risk division of a truly global $bn+ advisory and management consulting business.

Working alongside UK and international CCM team counterparts, this position will advise and lead on client-side contracts review, drafting, negotiation and execution. As a B2B legal contracts specialist, the Commercial Contracts Manager will provide advice and expertise from ITT/RFP to final contract signature/post-award for new client projects (Private & Gov sectors, UK & EMEA) ensuring all commercial risks are understood, mitigated and negotiated to mutual agreement.

The diverse nature of this organisations consultancy and programme management service offerings will see the Commercial Contracts Manager given fantastic opportunity to lead a diverse array of UK & international business service deals and contracting forms.... This could be anything from; IT/Technology transformation, cybersecurity, digital communications, marketing services to government, scientific, environmental, sustainability policy matters and beyond.

Experience & expertise required for Commercial Contracts Manager - EMEA application:

• Likely Law/Business degree, IACCM and/or other legal qualification
• Proven delivery in a sales-side Commercial Manager / Legal Contracts Manager capacity within technology/consulting/technical services sectors (c.5-10++ years experience min)
• Agility to lead full review, negotiation and drafting of standard framework and more bespoke/complex B2B service contract forms
• In-depth understanding of IP, Data/GDPR, software, licensing from both a legal contracting and commercial perspective & all wider contract related agreements: NDA’s, MOU’s, MTA etc.
• Able to engage and advise internal business stakeholder groups on legal contracting issues/risks and lead negotiation to mutual agreement with localised and international clients
• Proven commercial deal maker and negotiator focus (mitigating risk/maximising commercial opportunity)

Additional experience of advantage:
• Working knowledge of UK Gov and/or EU commission contracting process
• UK and EMEA (and/or wider) client-side contract negotiation
