A global Consultancy services business delivering expertise across technology, science, environmental, sustainability and wider commercial business services seek a Commercial Contracts Manager to lead pre-award, client-side legal contract and risk management for their EMEA projects.

Salary – c.£55000 - £65000 + benefits (with occasional home working flexibility)
Location – London (central, zone 1)

The Commercial Contracts Manager will take up post within the EMEA function of a truly global business, working alongside CCM team counterparts based locally and internationally to lead UK & EMEA client-side contracts review, drafting, negotiation and execution.

As a legal contracts expert, this role will provide expertise from ITT to final contract signature for all new client projects and assignments (Private & Gov sectors, UK & EMEA) ensuring all commercial risks are understood, mitigated and negotiated to mutual agreement.

The diverse nature of this organisations consultancy service offerings will see the Commercial Contracts Manager given fantastic opportunity to lead a wide array of international business service contracting forms, anywhere from; technology/software services, cybersecurity, digital communications, marketing services to government, scientific, environmental and sustainability policy matters.

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an agile approach with legal contracts expertise, value maintaining contracts governance within regulatory policy but with a commercial ‘deal-making’ mentality!
Experience & expertise required for Commercial Contracts Manager application:

• Law/business degree qualified or equivalent professional CCM experience with IACCM, CILEx or similar
• Exposure to leading full review, negotiation and drafting of bespoke & non-standard client-side contract forms for a broad array of business service agreements
• In-depth understanding of IP, Data/GDPR, software, licensing from both a legal contracting and commercial perspective
• All wider contract related agreements: NDA’s, MOU’s, MTA etc.
• Demonstrable ability in negotiating business service (sales side) contracts which are risk mitigated and commercially maximised
• Able to engage and advise internal business stakeholder groups on legal contracting issues/risks and lead negotiation to mutual agreement with international clients
• Proven delivery in a customer/sales-side focused Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager capacity with technology/business services sectors (ideally c.5++ years experience min)

Additional experience of advantage:
• Technical/technology/consulting services contracting forms
• Working knowledge of UK Gov and/or EU commission contracting process
• UK and EMEA (and/or wider) client-side contract negotiation

N.B. We are open to Commercial Manager / Legal Contracts Manager applications from all background but those with expertise in the private B2B technology/business/consulting services sectors with international exposure will have an advantage.
