A market leading and expanding software technology & data services business have a newly created opportunity for an LPC / LLM qualified, early career professional to join their established commercial contracts management division as Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst.
Salary - c.£23000 - £27000 (DOE) + benefits
Location - Crawley / Gatwick area (rail station within short walking distance & parking available)
This Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst role represents a fantastic opportunity for an early career legal professional who has an interest to develop a career within in-house B2B legal contracts review, analysis, drafting, negotiation and wider commercial activity within an innovative and hugely successful technology business who will offer extensive in role training and support.
The commercial function and this Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst role sit at the heart of the business working in close support and advisory position to directors, senior management and sales departments leading all contractual matters covering:
New business / B2B customer sales (contractual T&C's review, negotiation, drafting and amendment at tender/proposal and renewal stages)
Strategic supplier (procurement) - contractual review, negotiation, drafting and through life SLA management
Wider business commercial administration, project work, defining and implementing commercial process, efficiencies and new commercial engagement structuring
A role ideally suited to an LLM / LPC legal graduate with 1-3+ years professional experience (paralegal or general), seeking to develop a specialist career within in-house commercial & legal contracts management.
Key experienced required for Commercial & Legal Contracts Analyst application:
- Ideally LPC / LLM Law qualified with (LLB) or Business degree (2:1 classification minimum)
- c.1-3 years (min) professional experience (ideally related to contracts / legal administration)
- First-class written and verbal communication skill able to directly converse and advise on contractual issues at senior levels.
- Excellent attention to detail with an interest to apply legal expertise to commercial B2B contractual T&C’s review & negotiation to ensure contracts are risk mitigated, commercially advantageous and mutually agreeable.
- A genuine interest to become a specialist in all matters commercial & legal contracts related and SME (subject matter expert) to internal stakeholder groups.
