Interim contract assignment for a pre-award Commercial Manager / Legal Contracts Specialist to join a FTSE100 technology/data services business currently restructuring and transforming their CCM division.

To support this, they seek the services of an IT / SaaS / Tech services CCM professional with expertise in leading pre-sales award internal SME advice and director customer engagement across contractual review, formation, drafting to deal award/finalisation.

Rate - £550 - £600p/d

Duration – 3-6 months

Location – either London or East Midlands office base (with some working flexibility)

Scope -
• Pre-sales award Commercial & Legal Contracts subject matter expert to internal stakeholder groups
• ‘Hands-on’ ownership of pre-award sales contracts review, formation, drafting, negotiation and finalisation with direct customer interface
• New and existing customer deal engagement UK&I and wider EMEA (from legal and commercial contracting perspective)
Experience/expertise required -
• Proven ‘senior’ level pre-award, sales commercial contracts management
• Contract drafting of standard and non-standard/bespoke forms – risk mitigated but commercial advantageous
• Experience of IT / Software / Technology or related managed service product/service contracts
• Knowledge across Software / SaaS licencing, IP and Data / GDPR contractual specifics
• Engaged internal and external relationship approach (commercial robust deal enablement rather than deal blocking)
• Proven ability to ‘hit the ground running’ and quickly develop knowledge/understanding of technology product platforms and required commercial/contracting specifics
• Legal / Commercial Law qualification and/or IACCM
