A global IT & technology services business seek a commercial & legal contracts specialist to engage and implement CCM process and best practice across pre and post sales contractual agreements as Commercial Manager for a recently acquired FinTech business unit.

Location - London
Salary - c.£80k p/a pro rata (neg.) + full benefits
Start date - ASAP
Type - initially this role will be offered on a 6 month contract basis with opportunity to become a fully permanent role. Ideally the business wish to offer this on a fully employed salary + benefits pro rata basis.
Assigned to and embedded within the London based FinTech BU the Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager will assist the business to structure and implement best practice, robust commercial & legal contracts management, demonstrating the ‘business enablement’ value CCM can bring.
Reporting to group level the Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager will focus on developing stakeholder engagement to understand the nuances of the BU operating model and tailor CCM approach while bringing it in line with best practice corporate and contractual governance of its parent company.
Experience of developing and implementing process to pre and post contractual agreements for ‘SME’ FinTech / IT services environments from a corporate perspective is a must, delivering this following merger or acquisition would be a huge advantage!
Expertise required for Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager application:
• Proven experience of developing and implementing pre & post B2B commercial contracts process and hands on review, engagement and negotiation within an IT services, FinTech, Telco services or related sector
• Complex & bespoke (non-standard) contract deal structuring working within corporate governance and policy
• An advanced level of legal contracts T&C’s knowledge, adept is all aspects of contract risk mitigation and commercial advantage maximisation (from redline review through to finalisation)
• Experienced in the review and negotiation of key aspects within IT / Data / Service & technology development related contracts inclusive of GDPR, SaaS, IP etc.
• Excellent internal stakeholder relationship engagement and customer facing negotiation skills
• Ability to engage and embed best in class CCM process to ultimately deliver contractual risk mitigation and commercial value
• Legal, commercial Law, IACCM qualification may be advantageous..
