An innovative and award winning IT & Telecoms services business have a newly created opportunity for a commercial manager / contracts manager to join their expanding team.
Reporting to the Commercial Director the Commercial Contracts Manager will take autonomy and ownership of full life cycle, customer engaged contractual review, negotiation, drafting and implementation as well as wider involvement in major supply side contracts management and whole business commercial and contracting process best practice.
A key role to the business’s existing pipeline and future growth the Commercial Manager will have full initial support of the incumbent Commercial Director and beyond being an excellent opportunity its own right this role is also being considered as a succession planning capacity with potential future career progression to a ‘Senior Commercial Manager' or even 'Head of’ / CD level.
The business seek a proven contracts management professional with an expert eye for legal detail while remaining ‘commercially agile’.
Experience of such within the Telco or ICT related sectors in a commercial manager capacity role would be beneficial BUT applications would also be welcomed from experience gained in the wider technology / engineering sectors AND/OR aspiring professionals at an earlier (principal commercial officer / senior commercial officer) career level seeking the next step forward with the roles initial autonomy and development support tailored accordingly.

Salary - c. £50000 - £55000 basic + benefits
Key experience required for Commercial Manager application:
- Proven experience at Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager or principal Commercial Officer / senior Commercial Officer level with ability to build credibility and trust internally & externally
- Ideally degree level qualiified (Law, business or finance preferred) and / or active participation in professional bodies such as IACCM
- Experience and understanding of UK legal contracting basis and leading contractual review and commercial activity within the telecoms, ICT, technology or technical engineering sectors
- Able to articulate and demonstrate personal leadership of commercial contracts review, drafting, risk mitigation, management delivery and process adherence while developing maximised commercial advantage and enhancing internal and external relationships (Sales, Customer, Supplier)
- Expertise in the review, negotiation, drafting and successful implementation of customer side bid, proposal and final service delivery contracts (including specifics such as NDA, MOU, Teaming agreements and licencing)
- Agility to adapt an evolving business and expanding technology service based product offering.
